The Library sponsors programs for adults, teens and children including the very popular Summer Reading Programs. Patrons have access to the library catalog, Internet, Microsoft Office and database searching on library terminals.
The Allen Public Library has a variety of resource materials, ready for your use. They are open with regular hours, except around the holidays. (Please check the hours prior to going around the holidays).
Harrington Library is a full service community library and provides reading materials, reference services, database searching capabilities, Internet access, and children's and young adult programming activities.

The 30,000 square foot library has more than 130,000 items in its collection. Davis library is visited by over 1,000 people a day.
The Haggard Library is a 40,000 square foot facility featuring sunken courtyards to provide north light on both the main floor and the lower level. The lower level contains the Genealogy, Local History, Texana, and Archives Division.
Christopher A. Parr Library is named for long-time supporter, Dr. Chris Parr, who has been a library advocate in a myriad of ways since 1972. With great pride the Parr Library is named in his honor, opening on April 1, 2001.
