Description

The Frisco Police Department is made up of well-trained and motivated employees. An attitude of service to the community is paramount among them. The Frisco Police Department's Community Services Division would like to remind citizens and visitors to the City of Frisco to LOCK your car, TAKE your keys, and HIDE your belongings.
It is estimated that in Texas alone there are 100,000 stolen vehicles and over 250,000 vehicles that are burglarized each year. Of the vehicles that are stolen, nearly half had the keys left in the vehicle. Taking an extra moment to remember LOCK, TAKE, and HIDE will greatly reduce or even eliminate your chances of becoming a victim.
In addition to community awareness programs such as LOCK, TAKE, and HIDE, the Frisco Police Department is taking additional proactive measures to make everyone's visit to Frisco's abundant retail centers a positive one this holiday season.
Frisco police officers are stepping up vehicular and bicycle patrols in parking lots, partnering with retailers to create crime prevention plans, and utilizing volunteers like the department's Citizens on Patrol to report suspicious activity to officers.
